Lettings Representative

An individual is required to assist a Letting Company with handling their tenant relations.  Their duties will include:

  • To attend viewings at the property to show prospective tenants round
  • To complete various forms with the tenant for credit checking, housing benefit, tenancy agreements and bank purposes
  • To visit the property when a tenant makes a repair request to check whether a repair/assistance is needed
  • To make contact with the tenant and get explanations on why there has been an underpayment of rent
  • To check on the property or tenant at our request
  • To hand deliver notices direct to the tenant when instructed
  • To communicate problems with the tenant and/or property when they arise
  • To be the “eyes, ears and voice” for the Head office
  • To complete timesheets on a monthly basis

 

Essentials: Must pass a Criminal Records Bureau check i.e. have no current or spent convictions excluding driving offences. Must be good at communicating with people and reading between the lines.

Preferable: have own car, be a property owner with mortgage and landline phone at their home address.

 

Position: Occassional.

 

Pay: £10 per hour.  £10 per visit to a property to include 1 hours time at the property or any other property in the area.  Any extra time spent at the property or any other property in the area will be paid at a rate of £2.50 every 15 mins.

4.  Choose successful applicant and send welcome pack
